Ongoing legal support for game developers and publishers
For years, we have been advising developers and publishers of computer and console games at all stages of the production and commercialisation process. For many years, we have been supporting independent game developer at every stage of game production and the implementation of ports of previously created games. We also support such entities in corporate matters – starting from the start-up stage and the creation of corporate vehicles designed for them, such as a simple joint-stock company. We have conducted analyses related to the creation of games in regulated markets, such as gambling.
Drafting and negotiating contracts with partners
We have experience in drafting and negotiating production, license, publishing and investment agreements – both with domestic and foreign entities. We have advised on international co-productions, fundraising, and the acquisition and protection of the IP related to games, engines and development tools. We have drafted agreements with content creators, publishing agreements and agreements for the porting of existing games.

We have developed a model for selling games via an online platform, taking into account consumer protection and personal data protection requirements. We have conducted analyses related to consumer claims – customers of a platform selling computer games.
Disputes
We supported clients in disputes concerning breaches of production agreements, trademarks, unfair competition and non-performance of agreements. We also represented them in conflicts concerning source code rights. Among other things, we participated in an international dispute and settlement negotiations concerning trademark infringement in the process of game development and distribution.
