Marcin Liszka

He specialises in technology law, intellectual property law, personal data protection, crypto-assets market law, and corporate law. He represents clients in litigation, particularly in commercial disputes.

As part of his technology law practice, he advises on IT projects involving the implementation, servicing, and maintenance of ICT systems. He prepares personal data protection documentation, conducts compliance audits, and supports businesses in developing solutions that ensure conformity with data protection regulations. He also has experience in advising on projects related to crypto-assets.

He effectively represents clients in commercial disputes and is currently involved in cases concerning disputes between financial institutions and entrepreneurs arising from agency agreements.

In 2023–2024, he was recognised as a Recommended Lawyer in The Legal 500 EMEA ranking in the TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications) category.

Together with Gracjan Pietras and Jarosław Jerszyński, he co-creates the Bitcoin Desk (www.djp.pl/bitcoindesk).

He has been associated with DJP since 2021.

He graduated in law from the University of Rzeszów and subsequently completed postgraduate studies in “Technology Law” and “Data Protection Officer” at the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is fluent in English.

In his free time, he plays tennis and enjoys skiing trips in the winter. He is interested in new technologies, with a particular focus on privacy-related issues.
