Sale and Acquisition Transactions of Companies in the Insurance Intermediation Market
In 2023 and 2024, Łukasz Doktór led the team advising the owners of companies holding a significant position in the insurance intermediation market in connection with the sale of their businesses to a strategic industry investor. The transactions formed part of a broader market consolidation trend. They were multi-stage in nature and required careful consideration of the specific characteristics of each of the entities being sold, as well as extensive and prolonged negotiations. The agreed transaction structures involved comprehensive and complex documentation; however, thanks to the commitment and expertise of the DJP team, both transactions were successfully completed.
Acquisition of a Leading Salesforce Systems Integrator
Łukasz Doktór, together with the DJP legal team, advised a French strategic investor on the acquisition of a leading Polish Salesforce partner and subsequently on the implementation of a management stock option programme. The transaction formed part of the client’s strategy to establish a leading position as a Salesforce systems integrator in Europe and required close coordination of the legal due diligence process, taking into account both Polish and French law.
Advisory Services on the Implementation of a Deposit Return System
Since 2024, Łukasz Doktór has supervised the work of a team advising beverage manufacturers and importers, as well as retailers, on matters related to the implementation of the deposit return system. The team he leads has advised, among others, a beverage producer forming part of an international group in connection with its contemplated participation in one of the deposit return system operators in Poland, and has conducted analyses of a range of regulatory issues arising under the applicable deposit return system regulations.
Disputes Relating to the Distribution of Financial Instruments
Since 2019, Łukasz Doktór has led a team of lawyers successfully representing financial institutions in disputes relating to the distribution of financial instruments, including corporate bonds and structured products.
