Advised on numerous significant M&A transactions, advising banks, insurance agencies, technology companies including both sellers and companies seeking investors. Uses her experience in intellectual property law in technology-related transactions, especially concerning e-commerce platforms. In her practice, she handles transaction structuring, process management, conducting legal due diligence, preparing and negotiating transaction documentation.
Author of numerous publications in Gazeta Ubezpieczeniowa and Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
In 2023 and 2024 distinguished as Recommended Lawyer in The Legal 500 EMEA ranking in TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications) category.
Graduated in law at Jagiellonian University and completed postgraduate corporate law studies at the University of Warsaw.

Sale and Acquisition Transactions in the Insurance Intermediation Market
In 2023–2024, Katarzyna Lewińska was involved in transactions concerning the sale of companies operating in the insurance intermediation sector to a strategic industry investor. The advisory services were provided to the owners of entities with a strong and established market position, and the transactions formed part of a broader trend of market consolidation.
The transactions were multi-stage and complex, requiring tailored structuring and documentation for each company’s specific characteristics, as well as the conduct of multifaceted negotiations. Despite the high level of complexity, thanks to the effective collaboration of the DJP team, all projects were successfully completed.
Acquisition of a Leading Salesforce Systems Integrator
Katarzyna Lewińska was involved in the work of the DJP team advising a French strategic investor on the acquisition of a leading Polish Salesforce partner. The transaction was a key element of the client’s strategy to establish a leading position as a Salesforce systems integrator in Europe and required close collaboration between international advisory teams, coordinated legal analysis under both Polish and French law, and effective management of a complex cross-border process.
Advisory Services for Companies Operating an Online Platform
Since 2021, Katarzyna Lewińska has been involved in the work of a team providing advisory services to the shareholders and management companies of one of Poland’s largest online platforms for comparing insurance offers. The scope of advice includes, among other things, share and equity acquisition transactions, corporate governance structuring, as well as legal oversight of company mergers and transformations.
Advisory Services on the Implementation of a Deposit Return System
Since 2024, Katarzyna Lewińska has been part of the team advising beverage manufacturers and importers, as well as retailers, on matters related to the implementation of the deposit return system in Poland. She has advised, among others, a beverage producer belonging to an international capital group on corporate matters related to its potential participation in one of the deposit return system operators, as well as on the preparation of comprehensive regulatory analyses addressing key aspects of the system’s operation under applicable law.
